Noxious headers

Does anyone have actual experience with their headers. Their website talks about 303 shorties and infers they are appropriate for a 371. With work being done on my heads I would like to be confident they would not be to small. Insight/experience would be appreciated.

Never heard of Noxious Headers. Here's the web page.

https://www.noxiouscustoms.com/index.html

You might consider checking on the HAMB to see if those guys know about that brand.

I actually went to the website because of the Hamb. Sent a couple of emails asking questions and got zero response. That's what led me here. I think I have my answer.

303 flanges will not fit 371. That about suns it up.

303s would have round ports 371 would be squarish, lots of grinding and welding would have to be done. Not saying it couldn't be done, but I wouldn't mess with it, better to have someone build them from scratch.... Tedd

Nobody here has ever heard of them and they say they have been in business since 2007. Seems odd. The fact they have no contact info and don't answer inquiries pretty well sums it up.

That was my question, if they had a set for 371. Started looking at using sbc headers and cutting the flange off and modifying to fit Olds flange.

You still would need the header flanges for 57-58 Olds.

I'll try to call this place on Monday. Look at the web site.

I have looked at them and Hellsgatehotrods https://www.hellsgatehotrods.com/sho...xhaust-flange/
Both appear to be attractive options. Hellsgate are set for 1 3 /4 tubing and you have two options with Headers by Ed. I have a set of Sanderson SBC headers on another engine. I laid a SBC header flange up to my 14 head for comparison. It looks like you could squeeze the two center runners together and pull the outer runners apart and make it work. Speedway has a uweld SBC kit that could be used also.

Very interesting. Adapter flanges were a thought I had too.

If you just want flanges, the flanges Ross Racing Engines at least used to sell are excellent. They are cut on a water jet, nice heavy material, easy to weld. Give them a call.

With the help of an individual on the Hamb I got in touch with Noxious custom. Very nice and responsive. He makes each set to order so I suspect a small operation. He does make a short set for the 371 which are simple which suits me.
For future reference the email I had success with is noxiouscustoms@gmail.com.
I will report my experience.
Grant.

Interesting. Earlier you mentioned the owner was unresponsive to emails sent via. the website. Good luck, let us know if you buy some of his headers.

I want to give closure to this thread and answer the original question. Noxious is a small but trust worthy company. They delivered my headers on time and shipped to my powder coater. The finished product is substantial and nicely executed.
