I went to a local show on Cole Harbour today. It was put on by a tire shop near by. It was a bit small due to it being the rain date.

Still plenty of beautiful cars and trucks. Everything from a 66 VW Beetle to a 201? Maseratti and even a 50ish GMC 1/2 ton powered by a early 1960's Jaguar straight 6.

Millie won the Particpants Choice award, okay Sandy, it's a plaque and not a trophy.



When they called "number 13, '68 Oldsmobile Cutlass" my frist reaction was "WHAT?!"

I am sooo pleased. She is not even finished yet. I have never won anything at a show before except for random draw door prizes. Since this was only voted on by "peers" it feels personal.

There were far nicer looking cars, they got the "best of" trophies.

I had the only Olds, as expected, there was one Buick, an '87 GNX and two Pontiacs, both 67/68 firebirds. The rest were Ford, Chevy and Mopar.

Stupid me left with the camera in hand. I forgot to get the battery out of the charger. Oh well. I double check next time.
