Yep , alignment should tell if frame is bent , at least it worked on my 78 Regal i use to have, reeeeeal sorry to hear about what happened , I would be crying myself....LOL Jamesbo , that is an awesome idea for a hose reel

Ok guys I have a question!!!
Will 69 doors, fit a 68??? I know the 69 doesn't have the small vent window!!!!
Will a vert door work on a hardtop???




I'm hearing so much different stuff I have to make sure!!! Lol

68 & 69 doors are different. The 69 will fit but there's no where to bolt the vent window. 68 HT & vert doors are the same but the vent windows are different. You can swap them easily enoguh. Vert door also has a stainless/brass wedge set that should be removed for the HT (but I don't think it really matters if you do or not)

Hold out & buy a 68 door, you'll find one.

If you're looking to get rid of a passenger vent window for a vert I may be interested in buying it

The door frame is completely different at the top. There are no provisions to attach a vent window

Here's a 68, see the area under the vent window, a 69 looks nothing like this
(BTW, for what it's worth, this is a hardtop door that I hadn't changed the vent window out of yet. You can't tell from this angle, but the only difference on the vent window is the shape of the channel the weatherstipping sits in)
