Need pic of VIN for antique classic tag for 1967 cutlass Holiday Coupe 442

Hi, I’m trying to get an antique PA tag for my 1967 Cutlass Holiday Coupe 442. PA wants a pic or tracing of the VIN . I believe the only place they stamped it was behind rear wheel on top of chassis & impossible to get to or see without a body lift. Is there any other location I can get to to do tracing or pic? The cowl tag has the beginning of the VIN will that do?

No, the cowl tag will not do. The Vin tag should be riveted to the cowl in the driver-side door jamb on your 67. It should look like this:

If that tag is gone, you have problems. Especially here in PA.

If the car is missing the door jamb vin, I would not talk to the dmv until that is ... fixed.

T-Bone. I live in the wonderful Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and recently obtained Antique plates. Rule #1: find a tag agency that is familiar with antique automobile registrations. The Commonwealth requires a photograph of the VIN. You can also have a licensed mechanic or the police certify your car. PA has a separate form for certifications of this type. The regulations on the website are inaccurate. For instance, the website requires photographs of the entire car, both sides, and, front and rear. This is no longer required due to potential digital fraud. If you're anywhere near Philly, I can refer you to the tag agency that I used. They are thoroughly experienced. Prior to contacting the tag agency referenced above, I contacted other agencies. Each agency gave different information, none of which was required.
