Hi Can someone help me with this vin tag please?

Welcome. I moved your post to it's own thread. You'll have better results that way than resurrecting a seven year old thread.

That's not a "VIN tag". The VIN doesn't appear anywhere on it. That's a Fisher Body Data Tag, commonly called a cowl tag.

01B = Second week (B) of January (01) 1968 assembly date
ST68 = 1968 model year
336 = Oldsmobile Cutlass S model line (note that for 1968 and 1969 this was also used on legitimate 442s - the real VIN tag will tell you which it is)
87 = Holiday Coupe (2dr hardtop)
LAN = Lansing Assembly Plant
243657BODY = Fisher Body sequential number (not related to the VIN)
TR944 = Gold bucket seat interior
S-S PNT = Jade Gold Poly upper and lower body colors

And, if you have a true 4-4-2, your VIN will read 344878Mabcdef, where the "abcdef" represents a six-digit assembly plant sequence number.
