Need help pricing my car forsale
I have a 1970 442 holiday coupe that I am considering selling. I do not have pics at this time but will add when I can. The car has 52,000 miles and motor ,trans, rear etc is all original. Body had some very small rust spots and were repaired. I have many new old stock parts for the car. fenders, emblems, front bumper, grills, moldings plus more. Options car has with the build sheet are as from build sheet. au5 a01 a31 a46 a51 bc1 b30 b50 b80 b85 b93 c50 c60 d15 d35 d55 g80 g91 jl2 k30 l31 m40 n10 n33 n34 n47 n66 pk5 t44 uf1 u15 u21 u29 u57 u58 w25 w26 w35 y60 y62 paint code 51 wa3893 sebring yellow. Thanks for any help as I am just not sure what it is worth.

I am aware the specs are on line and I have a book here I can use for reference,I just thought it's odd someone would post all the codes and expect readers to decipher the list before they could offer pricing help.
I can't memorize the option codes when I have them in writing,I have to save my memory for the things you share that are not so easily found on line

Funny you should mention that. I'll never forget my sixth grade teacher who made it clear that intelligence isn't the ability to memorize facts, it's the ability to find information when you need it.

It's funny you mention what your 6th grade teacher said. I failed because I have very bad luck with searches,I can hardly ever find what I'm looking for,I must use wrong terminology.

To the OP...when you do take pictures we need the money shots, not 50 shots of the interior and engine bay. You know what I mean....
Clear pics of All sheet metal seams,... doors, fenders and quarters, undercarriage including floors and trunk pan et al...Pics of the underside on a lift does wonders.
A clean rust free dry car is worth much more to me versus a northeast rot box that's been sitting on a dirt floor for the last 40 years. I much rather have a worn out dry car.
IMO a stick shift car is worth slightly more to me.

I posted my question about the value of my car on this site with the build sheet numbers knowing some people know what these numbers represent and could give me some help with out pics until I can get car out of garage. It runs, trans is good etc but car is apart.

Price will be depending on how apart the car is and the condition of the sum of the parts as a whole. People will take the perceived value of the car restored as a whole and then subtract accordingly by the guestimate amount of labor, parts, and materials it will take to get it there. Without a picture of the car and the available parts, an accurate price is merely a guess which really leaves you in the same position your in now.

is it my old age like most of these guys on here, or is the build sheet blurry as hell? what is the interior code ... 930 ? it could be a very sought after the combo.
nice options with the w25 , the D / gate. and cruise control. . its worth 5k in parts for every one on here .... even if it is a rust bucket.

I believe he said its in storage right now and its snowing/rain today so maybe pulling it out and getting a good look may be difficult? Obviously the current state of disassembly or condition is important.
It sounds like a nice car if its all complete. The sebring yellow may not be for everybody but some love it.
Without pictures I will take a guess.
A 1970 442, numbers matching, documentation, 52K, sebring yellow, auto, buckets with power bucket seat,ac, pw, pl, cc, dual gate, tilt, sport wheel, OAI, rear deck spoiler, limited slip, night watch, rally pac, 8 track, sport mirrors. If this car was #2 condition I'd estimate its worth going by recent sales of similar cars to be approx 40-50k.
If this car is in pieces and needs paint but has all parts to put together Id guess approx 15-20k
If this car needs body/int resto work 8-12k
As everyone has posted previously, it is hard to estimate without seeing current state of condition and disassembly.
The documentation and options do add value so worth could vary a bit IMO.
I look forward to seeing some pics.
