My Kingdom for a dip stick (housing)
Everything is done and I am in need of a dip stick housing (Down tube) Back ordered for a couple of weeks and it is the last piece I need.
Does anyone have one?

Really backorded for a couple of weeks? From where?
I bought one (GM #401568) for my 350 about 5 years ago and I had to scour the dealerships across the country to locate one. If there's a reliable source for it now, let me know. I saved my old broken one in case I ever get desperate and have to resort to trying to repair it by welding the two parts back together.
This is the info I got from Chris Witt's part number database. Hope this helps you locate what you need.
401567: DIPSTICK [Indicator], 20-5/8" [short type]
Olds 68 (Late) - 73 350 & all small blocks exc. Toronado
Mates Guide Tube #401568 = 14.8" OAL/9.66" top part
