I will keep an ear to the ground as well, any distinguishing features to be aware of? At least the car is fairly conspicuous. Where in town was the car when it disappeared?

Better pics? I'll keep on eye out in East Dallas and from uptown to North Dallas. Do you want to post the tag number? When I was repo-ing all over DFW you would be surprised at the number of cars I found, when I was just out driving, by remembering the tags. Don't see a lot of 69 anythings driving around though. I'll be watching.
I just told my buddy on Friday that I plan on hiding a kill switch in the 67 ragtop. Probably before I take it out again. I try to use it like a regular car and want to be able to park it with out worrying. Of course that's what got it hit sitting in a restaurant parking lot after the Good Guys show.
My 76 Monte Carlo got stolen a while back. The Dallas Police Department found it in the Trinity River bottoms stuck in the mud. The cops said it was a good thing it got stuck where it did. Another 10 feet and it would have gone off a 20 foot drop to the water. I was glad to get it back with only a broken window and a messed up steering column. So have hope they do find them sometimes.

While not going to stop a tow truck, doesn't sound like your car had any extra security on it. Good idea on an older clean car, as not exactly like there's lot's of these around. Sorry to say, but probably in Mexico now. My car has a keyless remote alarm on it, and a hood/ignition cable lock system too. Added bonus, is a key doesn't go near the door or trunk locks anymore.

Can you provide detailed description and size of the wheels & tires? Those will be the first to show up for sale.
