Fuel pump return

Anyone who goes out to their garage in the spring, starts their car for the first time in months and has zero issues......consider yourself blessed!!!

I finally got my car running today only to see fuel spraying everywhere. It was coming out of the fuel pump's return line. There was a rubber "boot" on there that obviously disintegrated.

(I took pics but of course, can't seem to download the here)

Was that boot a factory thing?
What are the chances of finding JUST the boot to replace?
Are there any alternatives that DO NOT include a new pump?

Thank you
