Mom's new 72 Supreme

Sorry about the quality of this pic, it's a digital pic of a print made from a old slide. This was my Mom and her new 1972 Cutlass Supreme. Behind it was my Dad's 1972 Delta 88 demo. You could see just the front of the 88 in the original slide. My Dad (Bill Rogers) sold cars around the Lansing area at many dealerships, Max Curtis Ford, Dan O'shaunessey Chrysler Plymouth, Bill O'shaunessey Chevy, and Story, University and Regency Oldsmobile. I think in 72 he was at Story. He would buy a hot selling car at the beginning of the model year and sell it later getting my Mom a new car to drive for little or no cost. Of course Dad got a demo to drive. After he sold this 72 Supreme he ordered her a 73 Cutlass S. I got to drive that car and boy did it get attention as there weren't many of them around yet. Pretty cool for a 16 yr old kid! I don't have a pic of that one, wish I did. When Dad worked at O'shaunessey CP, it was on the used car lot. He could drive home whatever used car he wanted, usually he'd drive something that had gas in it. Sometimes he would bring home a hot rod. I remember Hemi Road Runners 409 Chevies, Corvettes, you name it. Great times.....

Sounds like you had a lot of automotive history throughout the years while growing up... It's no wonder you are in this great hobby today...

That was super Greg! Those names ring a bell. The Olds dealers were obvious, they were here till the bitter end.
