Moderator - Please help me get this fixed.
I went to a Commerative Air Force Air and Car show last Saturday. I tried posting some pictures on Sunday but kept getting some message that I did not have the right something. It sent a message to the admin so I hope it is fixed and I am not wasting my time now. It was hot as heck but otherwise a good day. There were 3 Oldsmobiles there. I took second in the 50's class with about 10 cars in the class. I was happy with that. So here goes with the pictures. Here is hoping.
I got the same message that a security token was missing. I notified the admin on Sunday and have not heard anything and the damn thing still doesn't work. Here is the message:
Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing.
If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.
Could a moderator please see if this can be fixed.

The problem is with your browser - it's not accepting cookies (the "security token") from the web site.
Check your browser settings and make sure it is set to accept cookies from whatever site is open.

This whole experience just continues to reinforce the non-user-friendliness of this site.
One problem people have is simply figuring out how to upload photos. That's a constant question, and it seems that the site could be modified to fix it. Instead of having the button at the bottom of the page and having it say the cryptic "manage attachments", why not have it at the top of the page and have it say simply "upload photos."
Second, even when people DO see how to upload photos, they often run into this "security token" message. No one knows what a security token is, for pity's sake! Why not have the message be "your browser is not accepting cookies." Other websites do this. People generally know what that means, and they know how to fix it or how to find out how to fix it.

You are spot on about the security token message. I had no idea what the heck it was until Eric told me. I have posted pictures before with no problem although it is somewhat awkward. I have not posted pictures on other sites so I have nothing to really compare it to.
The thing to understand is that, like some science fiction space alien or villain, ClassicOlds has no real existence - it is nothing but a database, a set of 1s and 0s on a hard drive (well, I hope several), somewhere.
Like the alien, it needs to inhabit a body to come alive.
That body, in this case, is a bulletin board product called "VBulletin," which is what gives it its appearance and function.
It happens that VBulletin is a relic from another century, with a layout and controls more suitable to computer geeks dialing up their servers at 2,400 Baud from their 8086s.
There are other BBS interfaces out there, some with far better functionality (including such things as WYSIWYG typing
), but Internet Brands, which hosts ClassicOlds, uses VBulletin, so there's really nothing we can do about it.
