I am going to MCACN this weekend, driving up tomorrow. The garage across from the venue that is next to the Doubletree says that it is 6'10" high. My truck is 6'8". Little to close for me. Are any other places close to park a truck. Also worried about being secure. Any ideas from the veterans?

 

Veteran here. I use the valet parking that is available to the right of the horseshoe as you drive into the half circle at the front of the venue. The area you drop your car at is 2 stories tall. No height issues at all. Last I went, it was 20 bucks for valet and another fiver for the kid parking it. The show is now 40 bucks to get in (from 25). Valet parking may have increased as well. The difference in cost to park and walk and the valet is negligible. When you valet, you are in the building and can exit your vehicle with no need for a coat unless you want to wear one in the show.

Set your maps on this address. 5555 N River Rd, Rosemont, IL. It will take you right to the venue. Just pull into it as if you were dropping someone or were a taxi. See you Saturday.
