Question master cyl.

any of u guys know of a good place to get a master cylinder rebuilt and about how much it would maybe cost

Ray, you might try sending
a pm to costpenn. I think he
just sent his off for a rebuild
for his W-30.

One of the best places around is White Post Restorations in VA. They install a brass or stainless sleeve (your choice) before rebuilding. You'll never have a problem again.

if the bore is clean and smooth you can easily rebuild it yourself

Ray, I sent mine to the place Joe P. mentioned - White Post restorations. I had mine sleeved due to severe pitting. They really did a nice job on the cosmetics as well. It was 195.00 return freight included.

would it be possible to post some pics. of before and after on your master cyl. I have an original one on the way I got from scott and would like to see how your EB stamp on it looks. got some seat belt tag fabric last night will try printing on it this weekend and thanks for the reply on my post.

I just had my treadle vac for my 54 rebuilt by Karps Power Brake in Upland, CA. Jeff Watts is a really good guy and has been doing this a long time. He put a stainless sleeve in the master cylinder. I doubt he is any better than White Post but is just another source. Here is the link.
