1967 Delmont 88 Clutch Pedal & Master Cyl Installation

Attached are pictures of a newly-installed clutch pedal on a 1967 Delmont 88. The clutch pedal is from a Camaro. The original shaft for the brake pedal was replaced with the same diameter (5/8") but a few inches longer. It's grade 8. Unfortunately, the rod for the master cylinder is about 4" to the left so that 5/8" shaft had to be extended. I decided to keep the original brake pedal since it looked like toy pedals when both were from the Camaro. I will get a chrome trimmed clutch pedal pad.

The master and slave cylinders are pre bled and from a Ram 1500. You can see in one of the pictures that the reservoir is remote. This was critical since there is not much room for the master cylinder.

Now it's down to the bell housing to fabricate and mount a bracket for the slave cylinder. So far this has been a major pain but hopefully worth it....

You might find it easier to just use a hydraulic throwout bearing.
