Magentic Mount AM/FM Antenna

Does anyone know where I might find one of these? I've been thinking about adding an AM/FM/CD unit to the car (in addition to the original AM) but don't really want to go drilling holes in the body for an antenna. I've searched and only find magnetic CB antennas. Do these even exist?

Yeah, they exhist, unless you go over 60 or park in a lot, where they 'disappear' immediatly!
A friend bought a couple - and found the above true!

I see.. well maybe I'll find another option then..

I'm surprised my truck's CB antenna hasn't disappeared in parking lots yet. Although it's not magnetic, all you need is a wrench.

Anyone ever use something like this?

http://www.amazon.com/Hidden-Antenna.../dp/B001QYSXAS

The reviews aren't too bad.

If you are in an urban area with stong signals, try a cheapo rubber antenna and hide it behind the dash/glove box. Not the best by a long shot, but easy to try and you might get away with it.

Is there not an antenna already built into the car for the currant radio?? It will work with any radio you install.

I have one

You can hardly go wrong, even if it just pulls in strong stations... no holes to drill, and completely reversible.... seems like a good idea, and you don't have a traditional "mast" under the dash to rattle and shift around.... I need to do something like that for mine, as I have no external antenna and have no intention of drilling anything....
