Looking for radio cassette player for my 84 Olds 98 Brougham any help would be appreciated.

 

Do you want an OE cassette player, or would you consider an aftermarket one? You could probably get an aftermarket one on Ebay. Here's a website that will let you look for an OE one:

Good luck getting an aftermarket one brand new. I went to Best Buy, years ago by now, and asked if they still had car stereos with cassette decks and the guy looked at me like I was an alien. I'm not so sure all the cars come with a CD player anymore. I bought a Chevy Equinox last year and it didn't have one.

Reminds me of a story from 1980. Friend of mine lived in Lansing near to the place the new Oldsmobiles were staged to be put on the trucks and trucked out. Some guy he knew broke into those cars and stole high end stereos out of them. He had 6-7 of the really expensive nice am-fm cassette stereos and wanted to sell them- cheap - I think $50.00 for all. I passed. I looked at those stereos and thought WOW what beautiful units they were. Good luck in your search.
