Hi, My name is Alex and I have a 1969 Cutlass S. My current bumper is the only thing that is making my car look bad. I have looked everywhere for a bumper. A local rechroming place wants $360 to get my current bumper rechromed. If I can save a few bucks buying a used one i would love it. It would also be great if I could find a 442 bumper with the exhaust cut outs. Thanks

$360 for a triple-plated rechrome is a good price. There are now 68 and 69 repro front bumpers. I saw them at Fall Carlisle. Price will be about what your chrome shop wants.

 

Thanks Joe! I appriciate it! I was thinking about changing the bumper to a 70. They seem to be everywhere. I do like the look of the 69 bumper though. Can you change the 69 and the 70? the rear ends are very similar.

No way on the Bumpers. There different on the Rear and the Front. I posted about this a while back. Check out the pic in this thread
