Long lost Olds pictures
Those photos were taken at the Tavern on the Green restaurant in Central Park in NYC. It was the press intro in I believe March of 69. Those shots are taken from the front of the restaurant. There are others taken from the other side, showing the front of it.
No clue on where these were taken!
Mike, from close examination of both pics, I would say that with the clothing, hair style and eye glasses that they are legit and period correct!
No state can picked out on the cars in the background, I was at Gettysburg in 2012, yea that monument could be, the plate on that Buick in the background could be yellow? 1969 Pennsylvania plates were 90% yellow.

My parents have old yearbooks from TN that have adds for Oldsmobile dealers printed on the back pages. One of them has a black and white photo of a 69 H/O. I should scan these and upload them. My car is in a yearbook photo from the early 80s.
Its a car salesman's trick to park the trade in vehicle beside the new car. If the Cutlass is the buyer's trade in vehicle this buyer has made a terrible mistake.
Nice picture Scot! Brings back the good olds days, when we used to see this on a daily basis.
Has to be Lansing, with big and mid size leaving the holding lot, I can almost make out Lansing Michigan on the transporters door.

I believe it was labeled as a '69.
