Light problem 1974 ods cutlass supreme

Hate to keep bothering you all with my issues, when I crank my car up here a few minutes ago...the park light came on even with the switch not on...wnet out about five minutes later...dash lights are on..can't dim the lights by turning the light switch ****...do you think this is a light switch issue?

That would be the logical place to start. New replacement switches are cheap and easy to replace.

Take the light switch out, LOOK AT IT. The rheostat should be easily visible once removed from the dash.

Park lights issue should be traceable with an ohmmeter.

Did you pull the Instrument light fuse, its the short one in the bottom of the fuse block and try cranking again as what was suggested back in January in your previous thread? That fuse will isolate the dash lighting circuit from the headlight switch. You've worked on a number of things behind your dash over the recent past, double check previous projects wiring.
