Lake Mirror Classic, Lakeland FL
The Lake Mirror Classic car show had perfect weather today. Sunny and upper '70's.
There were a few Oldsmobiles, including a 1904 "curved dash"
The hit of the show was a 1953 General Motors "Future Liner. One of only 12 built of which only 10 exist today.
This is one of two that have been restored.
They were used in GM's " Parade of progress". a traveling display of futuristic ideas.

Looks like an amazing show!
I think the Pontiacs took the win.
I never hear about these car shows in the area…and Mid Florida Credit Union is even my customer!
Is there a site for Florida shows?

I was there yesterday as well - the show extended all the way out to the nearby town center square park and adjacent streets for at least 2 blocks in any direction. One Cutlass ragtop owner I talked with had come up for the day from Venice Beach, about a 100+ mile trip.
There were also a number of Amphicars in attendance whose owners grouped together to run their vehicles in the lake from one end to the other - people loved it. One street was literally lined with a row of Deloreans covering almost the whole city block.

Great pictures Charlie. Up here in NorthEast Florida the 27th annual car show in Fernandina Beach was blessed with beautiful weather. It is always held on the third Saturday of October. If my pictures turned out OK I'll post them this week. Peter, try this site for all Florida car shows: https://flacarshows.com
