Finally got around to fixing the photos for uploading. The car show was last Saturday at Rocky Point Park in Warwick Rhode Island and was being held at the same time as the Great Race. I didn't know there was going to be one so I didn't bring my car.
Have to do it in two uploads.
Part 1
Very cool. I haven't been to Rocky Point since I moved from MA in 1980.
It was nice that the city decided to purchase the land to keep developers from putting up condos there. It has a nice walking path around the perimeter.
Finally car shows occur regularly in the Northern climes. This looks to be a beautiful spot and very nice cars. Very clever upside down vanity license plate on the rear of the Shelby Mustang

Nice pics, That Shelby license plate is awesome...
I haven't been there since it was still an amusement park. I went there many times as a kid
Thanks for sharing the pictures. This is my second attempt to comment, my first one was long and I kept paging up and down to look at pictures to continue what I wanted to say and somehow lost it all, bummer! Not going to do it again. Agreed, I saw some Chevrolet cars but they were corvairs so I guess the title included discontinued models. Was the SD455 dual quad original from the factory that way? What was the oldest car there, that two door convertible with the badge on the door? Loved the dark green long roof with the white trim, was that a Morris? The colors were almost identical in the brown and tan ambulance (what was it?) and the Mercury Grand Marquis, nice color scheme. The parade car with the horns on the fenders was cool, was it a Cadillac?
