Just curious.
I know this is a weather permitting question and many of your Oldsmobile's are safely tucked away for the winter (as mine will be During the AZ summer when it's to frigging hot to enjoy a drive) Here's my question approx. how many times a week and approx. how many miles a week do you drive your Olds ? right now I am averaging 2-3 times a week mostly short errands averaging 10-12 miles a week. I know its not much but it keeps me happy I do plan some longer trips in the future.

I drive mine to work a lot but similar to your excursions it’s 10 miles each way so not a lot of mileage. Heck, I drive only about 4000 miles a year total so none of the cars get too many miles per trip.

I try to drive mine at least once a week, weather permitting. I don't drive it in the rain, and it's mainly to work and back (approx 50 miles round trip), although I also like to take it out for a cruise down a back country road when I have the chance. Hot or cold, doesn't matter to me. As long as it's sunny, I'm behind the wheel. The longest trip I've taken was when I went to the Endless Summer Cruise in Ocean City MD in October 2018. That was about 300 miles round trip and I had a blast. Since I've owned it, I've logged about 6,000 miles in just over 2 1/2 years.

BTW, I'm taking it to work today 😀

I live next to Lansing. The 70 gets out once every couple of weeks. Ditto with 04 Alero. Both only end up with a 500-800 miles a year! My usual work day with travel and a little over and workout, I am gone 12hrs a day from home 6 days a week. Chores usually will get in the way of more enjoyment. I am ok with that because we live in a small city on a lot people drive/walk by and always comment that we have the cleanest and nicest over all yard, house and vehicles.

Weather permitting, I drive mine as much as possible. I consider my car “therapy “.

Once I take her out of storage, I like to drive her 1-2 times a week (weather permitting). Every now and then I'll drive to work, but I worry about people and their doors. Usually when the wife and I go out for a drive though, it will be for a few hours. Most times we will just pick some non-highway road at random and just drive the bi-ways and back ways until we feel like coming back home.

Back when I lived in Mobile AL, I'd drive my classics to work 3-5 times a week year around (unless it was broken down lol) and that ranged from a 5 to 35 mile round trip. I'd also take them to go visit my wife for lunch on my off days (80 mile round trip) and as often as I could after work or on weekends. There were times where I'd only touch my "daily" a handful of times a month.

Now that I'm in Michigan, I'm limited to 6 months of the year, and I have to move 2 cars to get my classic out, so that's limited to maybe 1 or 2 times a week if I'm lucky. I'm in the motor city and hardly get to drive my classic car

The Old's is my vacation/ trip car so it gets a lot of miles in spurts, not unusual to put 3 to 4 thousand on it in 10 days or so. Plus It goes to many local car shows and some out of state. This year is the exception with the virous and all so I'm down a bunch, looking for a better year this year....Tedd

Up here in the northeast I drive my car 2500-3000 thousand miles in the seven months of mostly decent weather. I just turned 69 so I never know when that last drive may happen! Lol

The wife and I just went to the grocery store in the Cutlass. That was maybe a 3 mile round trip. Like I said, I can drive every day of the week and put only 3000 miles a year since everywhere I go is close by.

I believe in the occasionally hearty 20 miles a month minimum rule for a cars best health regardless of weather. I drive my 69 as often as it makes convenient sense. For me that works out to about 3500 miles a year on the 69 out of a total of approximately 10,000 miles that I drive a year...

If rot is a concern stay on top of the cars cleanliness and fluid film the undercarriage.

I do a 25 mile loop 2 to 3 times a week, more often if the weather is good, especially during Covid. 4-4-2: the complete escape machine!

I recently had my 70 Cutlass out for a run after the roads were cleaned of salt from heavy rains. Normally it sits dormant from December to late March. This spring I will be changing the timing chain, rear seal, all rubber brake lines and pads if required and other preventative maintenance needed to take it on 75 mile runs to Cape Cod with girlfriend on weekends. Previous couple years I just didn't have the time to track down everything and only drove locally.

I drive my 72 Cutlass 1-2 times per week, weather permitting. I put 3 - 4 thousand miles on her per year.

This is defiantly a different kind of year. I have friends stop by who escape out of Canada in the winter and head for Mexico. I usually take them to a favorite bar in a little mountain town near my place in the Old's, top down with snow everywhere except on the road surface of course. It's become such a event that when I go there in the summer everyone wants to know where my friends are. It's a lot like the old series of Cheers with characters to match. Closed now probably for ever..... Tedd

If I take it to work, it's 100 round trip, which is about once every 2 weeks in the summer. I've driven it to Norwalk [385 1 way] twice, out to the DVOC meet a couple times, and various other trips. I guess it averages 2-3000/yr, but it isn't consistent because I blow it up and it sits for long periods while finances buffer.
