Jetaway trans. Shifter cable

Jetaway trans. Shifter cable

i am restoring a 1967 cutlass supreme 2 door post car with a 330 cu. in. engine with a 2 speed jetaway transmission. the car has bucket seats with a console. i need the cable to connect the floor shifter to the transmission and the bracket to connect the cable to the transmission. can anyone help

If the 67 is like the 65 it is not a cable but a shaped rod held in place with cotter pins and washers at each end. I am sure I have a couple in my shop. Also I believe there is no bracket on the trans-just an extension off the shift point on the trans-a bent piece of flat metal with a hole for the rod.

mike, the 67 is not like the 65. the 67 has a cable similar to the turbo hydramatic. the gm part number is 396327. i have a picture of it but i do not know how to send it to you. thanks
