Hey everyone.. I have a jetaway trans. in a 66 442 that I am swapping out to a turbo 400. I wanted to keep the stock floor center console and shifter till I heard and read that the t-handle shifters are junk and break easily. Mine is still working but I would rather put it away and replace it with something else. I want to also race the car occasionally. Shiftworks has a straight t-handle shifter that looks somewhat close to original but the t-part doesn't easily come off and the center console doesn't split in two to get it through the hole. Maybe my only choice is Shiftworks Smoothie **** shifter... **** comes off to slip through hole, not very stock looking though. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
