Jacking points on the 61-63 F-85

Going to bump this for help on the 1963 F-85 sedan. Where are the best areas to put the jack on this car? I'm excited to get this up in the air. Pics soon.

I moved your post because the unibody 61-63 cars are completely different from the 64-up cars.

I put my floor jack under the center of the front crossmember and the differential at the rear. Jackstands go under the control arms and rear axle tubes or can alternately be placed under the box rails welded to the underside of the floorpan if you want the suspension down. If you look at these box rails, it will be pretty obvious where there is reinforcement behind the front crossmember and just in front of the control arm attach points at the rear.

Ok, I wasn't sure since I never had a great look under the car yet. That fuel tank you have, what kind of shape is it in? If I was to pull the tank on this, am I going to have trouble finding hardware to reattach the new one?

Haven't really looked at the tank on the parts car in detail. My wagon from NV was relatively rust-free underneath and the tank bolts came out easily (using an impact wrench). I don't know if the bolts are common with those on the later cars or not.

Alright, let me get a good look at what I'm dealing with here and then maybe we can figure something out if I need to go that route. Thanks!

I had to cut that strap bolts when removing the tank in my wagon, simply replaced them with standard carriage bolts
