I've heard of cars abandoned in barns and fields, but...

...in a parking lot? Looks like a Mad Max car. Maybe he's waiting for the apocalypse?

I took them...my wife and are on vacation and the car was in a parking lot next to where we're staying.

Lol....it's actually in the next parking lot over. It seems there are apartments about 1/4 mile down from the resort.

It’s an extremely crunchy Torino, not a Falcon XB. It’s someone’s less expensive version of the coveted “Interceptor”. Torino body lines are the closest we have locally in the US of A. Otherwise you have to scour the Outback for a salvageable example. They’re getting harder to find. Watch Eric Bana’s documentary “Love the Beast”

As a side note, the “Interceptor” was not featured in “Thunderdome”. It was rolled and self destructed in “Warrior”, but was resurrected for “Fury Road”
