Cool! Now you will have a little helper in the garage..."James, get me a 5/8 box end wrench...James, get me a breaker bar and 5/8 socket...James, get me a hammer...James, get me a beer!"

And the torch passes to a new generation...
C-section seems to be more common than natural birth anymore.
Franklin is a great name! (can ya guess my middle name is Franklin? as was my daddy's, and the great uncle's he was named for. Trouble was if Mama called me by my full name, I knew I was in deep caca...)

At 21 inch and over 9 pounds, a C section sounded like the way to go. I was 10.2 pounds, vaginal birth and pretty sure my mom hated me for it my whole life. 6'7" and 300 pounds now.
Either way, congrats and the child. Kids rock. I just set my 18 year old daughter a desk up in my office so she can learn the ins and outs of the auto repair buisness. Hopefully one day the old man (me) can sit back and do little more than screw around on my own cars all day. Wait a minute, I do that anyway.
I even wired her up her own phone.
Again, a huge congrats.

Thanks everyone for the congrats and well wishes. They are much appreciated. It looks like we are going home tomorrow. Thankfully my wife let me go home and get a good nights sleep the last 2 nights instead of trying to sleep on the fold out chair the hospital has. I actually thought about taking him home in the Cutlass but not sure how to put these new seats in the car so the first Oldsmobile ride will have to wait probably until spring.

Those two nights will be all that you get for the next two months!
Car seat has to face to the rear in the car...unless you do the "Raising Arizona" method on the front of a motorcycle.
Welcome to parenthood! Don't forget to take care of your wife too!
