Thats a great looking car. Got any pics of the stereo install?

This weekends weather was perfect for cruising in something like that.

Jay, No stereo in 1966 - just mono with front and rear speakers. Did you put in the AM/FM or perhaps the Wonderbar? How about the "Reverb" by some chance?

Yep

Grandpa had put the cassette player in for Jodi when she was about 14 . He kept the 66 am/fm in the garage attic along with bumpers and some chrome parts off of his parts car he had long ago

I'm also curious about how difficult this project was, my '66 has a vacuum line off the HVAC controls, and it seems to be a major pain to even get to it. The radio is above that so I'm guessing you are now a pro. at this task, please share any tips!

Thanks, I was wondering what was holding the AC/heat contol in the dash, if I ever get time and can stand on my head for a while, I'll give it another try.

25 years ago an engine builder told me there's only a couple lifter manufacturers and the ones that are made with snap rings are the better quality. Rhodes, Isky and Lunati have the snap ring, all are considered reputable companies. I've only used Lunati and Isky in the past and haven't had lifter issues.

Now it's only 1 year old. Dashboards to lifters, what more could anyone ask for?
