Interior Details: Vertical Windlace, Rear Quarter Trim, and Door Pillar Seal

Hello,

Is somebody able to take a picture showing how the following trim pieces interact? My car is a '68 Cutlass Supreme 2 dr, but I assume most 68-72 non-convertible, 2 dr Cutlasses would be the same.

vertical windlace
rear quarter panel trim
rubber pillar-door-window seal

I'm looking for answers to the following questions, and a picture would answer most...

what happens to the vertical windlace near the top, where the rear quarter trim transitions from vertical to horizontal?
Does the "lip" on the rear quarter panel trim panel hook directly onto the metal door pillar at the front? With the rubber door seal pictured lapping over the top of it? Or does it slip behind the door pillar, and gets secured w/ the screw?

I've attached pictures showing the area I'm talking about...

Thanks in advance - I looked a long time and did not see this detail in the Fisher Body Manual or online.

The vertical part just hooks over into the slot. The factory piece has the windlace fastened to a cardboard strip that has punched slots for the panel clips to push through and holes for the screws for the windlace. The panel, when in place, leaves the windlace exposed and hooks into the quarter beside the glass. The panel has the metal clips that push through the dcardboard piece. Try that.

Thanks for the reply. I have the cardboard portion of the windlace installed correctly. It keeps the vertical part of the windlace secured nicely in place, but does nothing to hold the loose top part of the windlace (see the pictures). Does that just tuck under the panel when it is in place?

Also, notice the loose rubber seal in the picture. When hooking the inner quarter trim panel into place, does this rubber trim piece then lap over the top. It's hard to explain the questions I have without being in person looking at the car. A picture would answer all my questions though, if possible.

The top part of the windlace tucks under. The trim panel goes under the seal. It's hard to do pictures without sufficient experience.
