Rear Quarter Trim '68 Cutlass Conv…..how do i ship these things?

Hi Guys-
I finally sold my quarter panel moldings …..I assumed I could stuff them in a 4" abs pipe…..now that I'm looking at them closely I'm not sure they're going to fit.
Anybody have a bright idea on best way to UPS these things? 7 feet of slim flimsy metal.

Help!

However you decide .. wrap the ends in plastic, tape it well, then spray foam around it's ends to seal it to the container. That protects it from end jars. 7', I'm thinking a couple of 2x4s and some ply wood and voila, instant crate. Have you called UPS to see if they've got any document tubes over 4"?

I usually build small wood boxes just the size I need with 1x1 or 1x2 scrap lumber.

Most of the time there are free scraps at the back of HomeDepot / Lowes

Check with some carpet supply firms, lots of times they will have for the taking big solid tubes which maybe up to twenty feet long.
