Inline Tube exhaust kit.

Curious if anyone has tried this set of pipes. They look good for a budget build.

I used them on my 70 442. I was very happy with them. My installer has used Gardener many times and said these were very nice. One piece head pipes like stock and fit well. Mufflers had a nice tone and not too loud at idel but opened up nicely when you get on it.

Adam,

i used them on my car. I have 2 1/4 all the way. I did need to dimple the driver’s side pipe a little for clearance. However, I went straight manifold to pipe without the thermal flap piece in between.

Sweet, thanks for the feedback guys. Looks like I found my pipes. As Forrest would say, "That's good, one less thing".

Are the pipes just mild steel which will rust soon, or aluminized steel?

Thanks.

Pat

As stated in the ebay link provided: "the set we are selling comes aluminized head and tail pipes"

I used Inlines pipes on my '68 also. The fit was excellent. I liked that they had the option of larger 2 1/4" tail pipes instead of the factory 2". I used Thrush "turbo" 2 1/4" mufflers on mine. The coating on them has held up well. I put them on over the winter of '12 & they still look great!

Maybe Inline Tube is pulling itself out of the mis-fitting parts, assclown customer service mire they used to be stuck in. I hope so.
