ID this part and value

ID this part and value

Just got some NOS parts and I'm going through them and this is a door lock set and it doesn't say the year it says for F 85, 88, and 98 I'm guessing 68-69 range if anybody could ID this part number for me at appreciate it thank you. Part number 983229

Cool thanks. Did you find her through Google because I googled the number didn't come up with anything other than discontinued. Any idea on value? Thanks Brandon

Brandon, really don't know anything about them. I just googled the part number " GM 983229". I have found in the past by putting GM in front of the number I got a better search result.

They are child guard locks so the kiddies in the back seat can't unlock the doors and fall out on the freeway. Keep in mind that this was before child seats were common. They also defeat the coathanger through the window gap trick, though so do the straight smooth lock *****.
