I have a new Boss

I've been working at the same factory for 10 years. I am welder their and work on cars on the side. My plant was sold to a company out of Mexico. Know I'm waiting to see what happens. I keep on hearing good things are coming, but until I see it I don't believe it.

F150 frames. Before I started working their I worked at a body shop. The reason I went to a factory was better money and benefits. Now how knows

Well I hope they don't do something stupid like trying to bring in Mexican workers so they can cut wages. They must be a good size company to buy out your former employer so hopefully they won't change much.

I hope you get to keep your job too. Your factory made frames for F150's? I wonder why they bought your company and what they going to make now?

I worked for Dana. The Mexican co. bought all most all Dana's frame business. We make 67% of F150 frames in or plant. The new owner wants to make 100% of F150 frames if that's true than that means around 125 new jobs at my plant. I hope it is.

"Hopefully they keep current employees and their jobs are safe! Good luck!"

Ford IS supposedly doing the best of the domestic auto manufacturers. Hopefully that bodes well for you.

We had a plant meeting everything sounds good. The new company really wants to focus on frames. They bought three frame plants in KY. They want make our plant their US hq and they want to add on to the business that we already have. They want to be number one in North America.
