I Do Cars on YouTube
I was just wondering how many of you watch this YouTube channel. I Do Cars. Engine teardowns.
I find it opening up my mind to the many different engines out there. Some good, many have poor design. Other so complicated, what the f are they thinking.

He is funny, if not a little goofy. But It's like CSI for engine failure.
Like this one. I guess the oil dipstick was not all the way in. On turbos, it can be a big problem, pushing the oil out the tube...Cage around the lower end was impressive..
It also makes most of the olds engine look simple.

Yep, I look forward to a good engine autopsy every Sunday. I can't believe Ford would use a rubber cog belt inside the oil pan to drive the oil pump or how about the timing gears that are not keyed to the crankshaft. Those are great designs.
