Question How bad is my Q-jet?

I have been putting off a rebuild due to the expense; planned on sending it out as I hate messing with them. I recently had the air horn off and replaced the TPS. It ran fine for a while but one day it started to barely idle and seems to bog when I give it gas (in park), occasionally backfiring. It isn't drivable at this point. I'm guessing something dislodged and is plugging it somewhere. Any chance I can spray some of it with carb cleaner and hope for the best? By appearances if you can tell anything from the pics, how bad is my carb?

Sounds like the symptoms of a vacuum leak.

Check all of those hundred and fifty hoses and diaphragms, and your PCV.
