Here in Calif. on Thur. its getting warm like 76 deg. on Thur. WOW a record high. What is it going to be like this summer. Last year in April it hit over 110 deg. for a Month what next.

 

I'm a little north of you and enjoying this top down weather also. The down side is there is no snow in the mountains which equals no water this summer.... Tedd

 

I'm glad the Phoenix temperatures are lower than the 85º that was forecast earlier in the week. I drove the Cutlass to work on Monday but was afraid it would be too hot for top-down driving later in the week, but it appears there's a front on the way that will drop the temps back towards "normal".

PHOENIX (AP) — It's still winter, but temperatures in Phoenix are heating up to near-record marks.

National Weather Service meteorologists say Phoenix's high Monday was 83 degrees, tying the record for the date set in 1935.

It normally doesn't hit 83 degrees in Phoenix until early April.

Meteorologists say the unusually warm winter weather is due to a strong area of high pressure that has settled over the Southwest.

Phoenix's all-time record high for January is 88 degrees set on Jan. 19, 1971.

Temperatures are expected to hover around 80 degrees the rest of this week, which is way above average for late January and early February in Phoenix.
