I've had this Q-jet on my shelf for over 20 years without thinking to much about it until recently when I went looking for a 69 442 carb I thought I had and needed for project. I was checking stamp codes to find the 69 Q-jet and saw this one that has no stamp code on the main body. Can't find information on Google regarding unstamped carbs either.
From the spec card I made back in the day, it looks to be a good big block carb and I'm thinking I can rebuild this and use it on my 455.
Would this be a service replacement Q-jet or did it escape the stamp code?
FYI...this would have been removed from a wrecking yard car back in the 90's, but I just don't remember what car it was on. And no I can't find the 69 carb.
On the side face of the baseplate facing the driver side of the car when installed on the engine there appear to be numbers stamped. If so, that's the date code for a 68 carb.

Brushed the area you mentioned and found these.
Do you mean these numbers? what do they mean?
Carb was produced 191st day of 68. Could be early 69 production.
We have seen several Olds and Buick Quadrajets from 68 69 that have no roll stamp and no disc for code.
It can be set up for whatever you want at this point.
If you can tell me what the jets and primary rods are, I may can tell you what the original application was.
Looks like a nice carb
From what I can see of the partial picture of your throttle lever, it looks to be a '69 Toro "252" carb. With no #s stamped on the main body it was probably replaced at a dealer back in the day because of stripped fuel inlet or other "damage".
