The vacuum reservoir is for the A/C controls.

OPGI lists a repro fan shroud. Some other parts can be found on ebay. Fusick is good for some parts. I have heard nothing but bad about BAP/Brothers so I stay away from them. I also had some trouble with seat covers and a radiator from OPGI.

The vacuum tank is not limited to AC use. Power trunks and cruise control also required the tank.

Gary, the tank info and much more can be found in the Assembly Manual available free of charge at Wild About Cars:

I don't see any CSMs or other manuals on that website.

Koda, you have to create an identity on the site. Once you do that, you tell them what vehicle you want to check, and it creates your "Dashboard" where you can check repair manuals, promo material, engineering manuals, just about anything you would want, especially regarding Olds. Just go to "Factory Publications". It is, without a doubt, the most inclusive Olds Info site available.
Also deals with lesser desirable vehicles, like Mopar, Fomoco, and other trash (my opinion, anything else is a wannabe).
