HEI Grease

Is the Permatex #81150 Dielectric grease the right grease for the module?

No, you want heatsink compound. The last time I bought it was at Home Depot.

Something like this:

Super Lube Silicone Heat Sink Compound

OK thanks. I told the Napa guy, I don't think that is the right stuff, and he said it was, and it does not actually say anything on it about using for modules. Now I have to change it. I did not drive the car much, just made sure it started. I'm surprised the new one did not come with it, is a Delco.

I don't think I ever bought one without the tiny tube of grease. Of course it has been a long time and everybody cuts corners to save a few cents.

This is what you want.

You can get it from Amazon.

It's the same stuff used under computer chips.
