Headers .... ?

Did you read or just like typing! I said nothing was wrong as in he didn't have the correct parts but they sent him the correct parts! Duh! In the mean time I was criticizing him for his obvious blasting a company that has a good product. When actually sometimes wrong parts get shipped! Just happened to my grandson last week. You need comprehension skills when reading. 😂😂

No Fleming is right on this one and this isn't the first time they have mixed up headers. I remember another guy getting A body headers for his G body. Maybe for 2K+ they can weld a plate on each header with the part number stamped on it. Just an idea ARH, saves pissing off customers.

Hindsight is always 20/20. Would you immediately recognize a set of small block headers from big block headers? I couldn't, and had to find out the hard way. The small block ARH version is almost identical to the Hooker big block I took off. The big block ARH is completely different. How am I to know the difference? I posted this as a cautionary tale.
Would I do it again? Nope! I'd save a few hundred dollars, cut up a set of Hookers to make them fit right, then get them coated. The 6 month wait was bad enough, but the salt in the wound from getting the wrong shjt completely turned me off.

I'm glad you like yours. I don't feel like I got $2000 worth of anything. You're the only one complaining, and several others actually agree with me.
My "modification" is simply bringing the alignment specs up to date. It drives a lot better, and could be fixed on their design.
I said what I said, and I'm leaving it because I don't know what exactly you're talking about. Feel free to petition the mods for removal if it offends you so much.

I posted to remind you of all the bad things you said about the company that made a human error! Just because you get mad without talking to the company first gives you a opportunity to bash a good product! Like you never made a mistake! Common now did you delete all those trash comments no why not! As for you comment about hooker header's they are not stainless steel! Also you made modifications to you car that made the BBO header's from ARH have minor issues. All I see is trash talking . I have had no problems with my ARH header's. The fit was great and I made my own motor mounts. The ARH company made good on your header's why are you leaving all that crap up about the sbo header's? That's the point!! 😵💫😵💫😵💫 I have no connection or anything to do with ARH company or anyone working there.

Doubtful, I bought mine well over a year ago...they are definitely small block headers.

Quite frankly, I am quite used to shjt not fitting. I am actually surprised when things DO fit. Just yesterday, I had to put a chamfer in a new Speedway (Chinese) pilot bushing. Why? Because they put the chamfer on the wrong f-ing side!
Now, if I drop big coin on an alleged, top notch product, get strung along for months because they botched their factory move, get a product that's close on the engine stand, but doesn't fit the car, what exactly am I supposed to think? Hindsight is 20/20.
I gave them credit for correcting their mistake, but that's all I'm giving. I'm not that impressed for the 6 months of bullshirt they put me through.

Maybe you should reread this, and answer the questions.

Thank you. I have seen more than one set myself! You seen what happens when someone gets upset! I just don't get the trashing and most of all not calling company before beating and smashing because of a bad fit! It had to be obvious that they were not right when others have had nothing but good results. Plus all the bandwagon jumpers in this thread! Have a good day Sir.
#54
What the hell would you know bandwagon jumper! You don't own or fitted any ARH now have you ! Go buy some more Walmart header's! You are to tight to buy good parts. More blah blah. Gee ain't you cool.

Sure fixes their problems. You out Dale, Dale. KEEP YELLING! My Chinese headers actually fit with minor work. Remember how you yelled Powermaster starter to me. Guess which starter fit and working great? The one you said was a POS without owning one. Pot, the kettle is calling, saying you are black. His ARH didn't fit, just like others he was sent the wrong set. Maybe a $5 plate and a metal stamp kit would fix their wrong headers being sent. Tell them that at the share holders meeting. KEEP YELLING! YELLING MAKES YOU RIGHT!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Why so they can send me the wrong ones for the 3 grand to get them up here? Even if right, for what 20 HP, I'm good. I'm over 7K on my 358 build, way better ways to spend money. Still doesn't fix their issue, even if I won't waste my money. Thanks Mr.Pot!

I got these from Mondello about 16 years ago with the 455 they built for me. I used Remflex gaskets and they are still on the car today. They fit my 68 ragtop just fine. I don't know what brand they are or if they still offer them.

If I may ask, Which Mondello if I may ask? While he is no longer with us. He was a fantastic guy. Which Mondello site is the 1 to avoid? Thank You in advance.

Like I said, I bought that engine and headers a long time ago now. I didn't know he had passed. They really knew their Olds stuff. I haven't done anything other than some plugs and 10 quart oil changes since I bought it. I haven't looked for parts forever, so I am not the guy to ask about sites to avoid. Perhaps another will chime in.
