Headers clerance

Hello all, I wanted to if anyone here can help me with headers and fitting issues.

I have a 72 cutlass holiday coupe with a 455. the car currently has Flowtech headers on it. The issue is the headers hang too low. My car has a two inch drop spendle and 2 in rear coils drop.

Is there another headers that will fit better ? I want the header to be in the trans cross member cutout or closer

if some one has a pics and names of some headers.

i may be open to a used set if clean

thanks in advanced
Kevin

Doug's headers or American racing headers fit tighter. Hedman will be tighter too, hooker tends to hang lower.
Anything will be an improvement over Flowtech.

Doug's and Doug Thorley (as far as I know) are NOT the same company. I heard the original "Headers by Doug" company was bought out by a conglomerate and the one of the former owners re-established under a new name that is/was similar to the original. I'm not familiar with either company's products. I'm a Hooker man......only for headers, though!

American Racing Headers are tight to the floor.

You caused your own problems with the 2 inch drop.
They made the headers designed for cars with stock height.
Hookers fit great with no dents or tweaking but the above applies.
Maybe add taller front tires or if not a race car go back to stock manifolds?

My issue with headers were the same without the two inch drop...I just dont like looking a my car from the side and looking at headers. ...with the car at stock hight headers were more noticeable

ARH look great!

Will hookers huge floor ? I know there not the quality of ARH
