Header interference 73 Cutlass S

Planning to put my set of Hooker Supercomps (3107) on my 73 Cutlass S. I've been seeing some information saying that certain headers can't be used on the column shift automatics. I figure because of the backdrive shaft. I've converted mine to a floor shift but the backdrive remains because of the steering column lock. Anybody heard different or have any experience.

Yes, this is a problem with some manufacturer's headers. Keep in mind that even for the same application, every manufacturer routes the tubes differently. Some fit better than others. Usually you can modify the backdrive linkage to clear.
