Groundhog day

Well Phil saw his shadow. That means I have 6 more weeks to get my car done. It's going to be close.

Well, Buckeye Chuck - Ohio's groundhog - did NOT see his shadow, so hopefully we'll have an early spring! Yeah, right!!

Considering that groundhog predictions are about 36% accurate ( even worse than the weatherman ) I don't put any faith in that old superstition. I'll go with Wayne across the street who predicts it scientifically with data collected from a variety of sources including satellites. Tempuratures will average near normal for the remainder of Feb. with an early warming trend bringing above normal precipitation for March and April.
I will see if he is right or wrong in about 3 months but I hope that we don't get the same amount of cloudy and rainy days that we got last year , swore I was out in B.C.
