Located a 69 NOS quarter panel for my car. As many of you know these are not easy to find especially at a decent price!

What about the rest of the rusty hulk? How did that re stamped 253 work out for you?

 

Mike-- in reading some threads on the forum I heard that most of the re stamping / bodying comes from some guy south of rt 40 and since my carb came from a reputable source in the west I wasn't so concerned---

As far as the rest of "the rusty hulk" goes just worry about getting the correct battery and hood insulation in that cinder block of yours

What's wrong with a Walmart battery? I'm going to use that foil type insulation they sell @ Home Depot.
