George Berejik RIP
The Oldsmobile community lost a very prominent member yesterday after a long battle with cancer. George was the kind of guy who made everyone feel special and had many friends in the Oldsmobile community.
He had a long history from Berejik Oldsmobile to being part of the Smothers Brothers race team and his support of the OCA and local chapters. He will be missed.
George rest in peace you deserve it.

RIP George
He seemed like a real genuine person, this is the impression I had after talking to George only a few times.
Was a real part of Oldsmobile drag racing history.
Condolences to family and friends

George was a great Oldsmobile fan + supporter. We will attend the wake. It's too bad there is so much snow, or we could caravan in Oldsmobiles as far as the eye could see. My condolences to friends + family. Rest in Peace "Baby Buffalo".

Anyone familiar with George's battle knows of the poise and the grace with which his lovely wife Betty Ann carried herself - from her undying support for George to her almost daily updates to the GMO Chapter regarding his condition - to her final message telling of his passing.
We should all be so lucky to have someone like her by our side when life from us slips.
God Bless Betty Ann and RIP George

I remember in my earlier car show trips going to Berejik Olds for the annual G.M.O. chapter Olds Show, years ago. Mr. Berejick took a genuine interest in my 79 H/O even back then prior to my having it restored. He even gave me a private look at his white/gold 79 HO he had amongst his collection back then.
Just where does the time go? Seems like only yesterday.
R.I.P. George, you will be missed

We attended the wake, and like all wakes...it was a sad affair. But...a tip of the hat to George, his favorite personal Olds "Baby Buffalo" had a prominent display place outside the funeral home. And...his casket was painted the exact same color as the car, turquoise with shiny chrome hardware.
