General Motors May Be Developing New Factory Division - Restoring Classic Cars

The search for more money! May take years or never. Hopefully before we get too old. Could be through vintage parts manufacturing or a factory restoration service.

The way GM is going, the "EV Conversions for Classics" catalog will beat it to the punch .

I would not read too much into this trademark like the article does. Note trademark registrations are for certain classes of good and services and I see all goods (parts) and no services listed. And it is very similar listing of goods as their older one. My guess is they needed a new one since they updated their main GM logo and just dropped the "parts" to simplify branding. And note most of this is for licensing, not GM making the parts.

tva442 Maybe you are right. But would they say “GM Restoration” Saw on help wanted on the GM site. Looking for people, I believe for this startup.

It says "GM Restoration Parts", not "GM Restoration"....just like they've been doing for years. It's just a renewal of their trademark "GM Restoration Parts".

Also, is now gm instead of GM. Those capital letters are so tyrannical!!! Lower case are much more politically correct and environmentally friendly.

So, even if this was true, can you imagine the cost?
If you bought all the parts to build a new car from GM, it would probably cost 20x what the new car cost. And you still have to put it together!

I looked on GM's Career website, but did not see the help wanted you are referring to. Either way, if parts or restoration service, like you said in your original post - "The search for more money!"
