Gas Problems
Hello
I have a 1990 98 Oldsmobile that runs real good until I fill the gas tank, once I do the car jerks, dies and will not keep running, do any of U good people know what the problem is and how to fix it! Thanks very much for any advice!

I'll be durned. An Oldsmobile that doesn't like gas?? Sounds hokey doesn't it?
Couple of things come to mind:
Will it only act up just after you fill with gas? If you let it sit for 10 minutes will it run normal? If that's the case it sounds like you have some crud in the gas tank that's getting swirled around with the new gas coming in, and clogs your fuel pump intake?
That's really the only thing I can think of that would cause a fuel restriction like you're describing. Did this car sit for any length of time during it's life?
And, FWIW I'd be upset too. The good news is that if your problem is what I think, you can run the tank mostly dry then take it out and get it cleaned up.
