G Body T-Top Restoration, Any input?

Well I'm starting to get the itch to start working on the Hurst, like I've said I was going to do for the past 3 years. I know one of the first things I've got to tackle is the sad deterioration of the metal underlying the t-top plates on my car. After removing the black plates, I was very sad to see how it has woresned these past couple years. I have heard of a lot of horror stories where I'll have to go find a donor car and cut the roof off it, so on and so forth. I would like to know others past experiences with this situation. I know GBodyParts.com ( Not Gbody.com, cause that's a big no no! oops! ) has the front roof header panals available now. Would like to know if anyone has used this yet since I know it's fairly new on the market. Or if others have simply repaired the damage and moved on, or if its worth the cost of slicing the whole roof off, and welding in a whole new donor peice. Which is not my preffered method. I don't have any holes in the roof yet, but its crumbling in certain areas. Below is the link for G-body parts.com's panel. Any input would be good. I would like to hear what some have to say about it. I don't want to be pouring money I don't really have into the wrong repair method. I want it done the first time right, and be able to enjoy it after.

I'm just impressed as heck that a company stepped up to produce for those in need. This will fit more than just Cutlass, but I have no idea of the quality. You might have to be the test pilot on this one.

I looked at the link and pics of the replacement parts. Looks like major structural work to the roof so I'd bet there needs to be some bracing involved to keep everything lined up? Now that I'm subscribed to the thread I'll be watching to see how it goes. Hope it goes great and you get the feedback you're looking for.
