Fuel in oil

I had regulator issues and needle and seat troubles, each time I tested it dumped fuel into the engine, not running. I'd guess a quart or more, just change the oil to be safe?

That's a lot of fuel. I'd also play it safe. Oil & filter.

Year, Model? That’s a ton of fuel. Any modifications to the engine?

Yes, an oil change is in order. Hopefully you got your regulator repaired.

Yup everything is good now. I have a lot of oil laying around so will dump it, it never ran so filter should be good.

Fuel in the oil is very bad. It strips the oil from the motor. Be very careful.

Change the oil and prime the system. I might even pull the plugs and crank it, then change and prime it again.

Mechanical fuel pump was leaking into my 84H/O engine. Without me knowing, until it was too late. Spin a crank bearing. Another reason to have electric fuel pump in gas tank.
