Frustrated!

I see a post on overheating that I MAY have incite on and spend 15 or 20 minutes TRYING to help by typing a message and when I submit it IT'S gone. My question is WHY do I have this SHORT window of opportunity to help someone I don't know! Please explain.

Be sure to check the remember me box when you sign in or it will sign you out when you least expect it.

One other thing you can do if it is going to be a long message is type it into a word document and then copy and paste it. The first suggestion should work and is the best.

I always pre-type my posts in a Word or text document if my response will be more than a paragraph or two. It's just good insurance against the "poof" it's gone syndrome. I feel your pain brother.

It is frustrating and has happened to all of us. I agree to a word doc and then copy and paste.

You're going to more trouble than you need to with using a Word doc first.
You can simply type in your message and "right click" copy it to you clipboard. Then send it, and if you've timed out, just go back in, reply and paste. You'll carry all the formatting and all.
